What is a GMB / Google business profile?

 

A GMB company profile is a page where users can manage their company information and add other services. 

It contains information about the company, contact information, photos and links to other accounts of the company. 

The main feature of a GMB business profile is that it is integrated with Google Maps, so customers can find your address and see what your store looks like.


There are three things to keep in mind when creating this page:


Personalization
- What is unique about your business? What makes you different from others? Providing clear information about what sets you apart from your competitors will increase customer interest in buying your goods or services.


Location
- This is one of the most important features of a GMB account. You must provide accurate and updated contact information for your location(s), as well as accurate hours and days of operation. Photos
- Photos are an important part of any social media platform; they help customers get a sense of how your business works without having to set foot inside! Photos can also be used as advertising on social media by posting them on Facebook[1] or Instagram[2] place!

How do you set up your Google business profile?

 

If you already have a Google account, you can get started by going to https://business.google.com to go. 

If not, create an account on the first page of the wizard and follow the instructions on that site.
Once your business is added to Google My Business, you will go to your business dashboard where you can add logos, address, photos and more.

Adding your company information to your profile

 

The first step in setting up your Google My Business profile is to add your business information. This includes the name of your business, address, phone number and business hours.

Creating posts for your Google business profile
